the future does NOT LOOK GREAT for bandcamp as a place to continue to sell music as an independent musician in the future. streaming services CANNOT WORK short term or long term. Spotify was already paying peanuts and recently decided THAT WAS TOO MUCH. this does not mean we should despair; it just means that WE HAVE WORK TO DO.

KEEP USING BANDCAMP. it's still running, and the union are NOT CALLING FOR COLLECTIVE ACTION. however, relying on any SINGLE PLACE to distribute your music is a recipe for failure, no matter how good that place is. marx probably said something about this. it is important to find MANY PLACES to distribute your music, spread the word and build an audience. at any point, any place can very quickly be taken away or made unviable. here are some places you can PUT YOUR MUSIC:
